Nora Barron has experienced increasingly sensual, life-like dreams of a Sidhe male after his appearance to her at the fabled Hollow Hills as a teenager. That autumn encounter left her fey marked--and violently sick whenever she attempts to be intimate with any man. Now, seven years later, she arrives at the Hills to search for the mysterious Fae and end his hold over her once and for all.

But what Nora finds there threatens to rend the very fabric of her life. With his potent allure, Tillon is hard to resist, and so is his reason for fey marking her. She'll have to decide whether she can accept the mark or turn away from it--and Tillon.

This is a short story.

Fey Marked eBook Lisa Kumar

I was intrigued by the concept of this book, and the idea of being marked for a supernatural being has a lot of delicious implications. However this book is really too short to ever really revel in the possibilities. Its a quick read, if you want something you can wrap up in less than thirty minutes then this fits the bill. She did a fair enough job establishing the setting, there really was mainly only one for the whole story although some of her descriptions have been overused before which takes some of the punch out of the setup. All in all it was entertaining but a bit fluffy, but the concept would have been excellent if played out in a fuller length novel. It left me wishing there had been more.

Fey Marked eBook Lisa Kumar Reviews

This was a nicely written book. Makes me wish I had written down more of my own dreamings. A sequel would be in order I think.
Very sparse. Lacked any real plot or development. I expected more from the description.
Nice storyline,I'm wondering will there be a second book.
I am a writer myself and I know it can be difficult to write interesting engaging dialogue. This writer fails.
She is describing.. and there is not enough ACTION and what I learned is that you should show ACTION not just describe the scenario.

I was completely bored by the detailed description of the situation. I didn't feel for the characters .. .. didn't feel for the situation..

and then it just dropped you at the end.. so they meet and you never see the world she will end up living in.

It sounded like a 6th grader wrote it...
A short read. I felt it would have been better with an Epilogue.
I felt that the story just ended abruptly.

Would I/Did I buy it? $0.99
Would I read it again? Yes
Would I recommend it to friends? Yes, as a quick read.
This was a fun read and I found myself wishing it was a full length story. I'd love to read more along this storyline.
It was rather short and anticlimactic though the romantic tension was good there was no bread to go with the butter. It has an interesting use of elvish folklore what with elves often depicted as seducer that steal people away for who knows what but most often to cause harm and Sidhe in irish folklore are the "people of the mounds". Elves being incorporeal is knew to me though so I don't believe that to folklore/mythology based.
